Diversitea

DiversiTea provides an intimate forum for professional women to network with and mentor college-aged and high school students. For mentees, DiversiTea provides a dynamic group of mentors ready and willing to pass on their wealth of experience.  In addition to choosing their “Personal Board of Directors” from the crowd of mentors in the room, mentees also have an opportunity to talk to other women who are doing what they want to do in life, ask questions of them and learn about the trials and tribulations that it took to attain their goals. For mentors, it provides an opportunity to “give back” and “pass knowledge” to the generation that will come after them.  It also provides an opportunity y for mentors to meet and add other positive professionals to their network.  Because we know life is busy, DiversiTea does more than just introduce the mentor and mentee. We believe that change is effectuated only by a continuous, sustainable relationship.  Accordingly, several times a year, DiversiTea brings everyone back together for “Tea Talks” to continue to reconnect, reenergize and reshape our mentee’s lives one student at a time.
